Thank you for your support of term one's Parent Quiz night and the Kiwiathon which all students participated in. In response to my playground blog the PTA are gathering quotes to replace the bark under the current adventure playground with soft matting. Hence, all fundraising this year will go towards this project.
This term the PTA's fundraising efforts will be in the form of a honey/natural lollies/chocolate drive. Orders will go out 20 May, due back in 27 May. Products will be sent home on 29 May before Queens Birthday weeekend. Money will be due back to school on Friday 13 June.
Remember that you can also purchase an Auckland Entertainment book for $65, $13 of this comes straight back to our school. These books are not only for those families who dine out, there are discounts for the Auckland Zoo, Clip'n Climb, the Sky Tower and other family attractions. There is a book on display at the office, if you would like to check it out further.
The PTA discussed holding a student Friday movie night in term three at the Hollywood Theatre in Avondale as a fundraiser. I have posted a survey to gauge your response to this initiative.
